Price is not bad. Just a little walk away from the river and some trails. But quite a drive to town if you didn't bring everything you needed. Beautifulll though. Have been several times now!

Wow. What a hidden gem of an experience. If you stop by and visit Dennis...he will show you why. He roasted marshmallows for me and my family. He gave us a wonderful history lesson on the Ranger station. He also gave my two boys slingshots! I'm sure he doesn't do that for everyone but, my boys were ecstatic. If you're a hiker and looking for some wisdom on the Alpine Lakes area, he's your guy. Just awesome.
