Aaron Chavez carved an owl into what was left of a ponderosa we had removed. It looks amazing! He's a true craftsman and artist who was such a joy to work with. He listened carefully, while bringing his own artistry and imagination to make a sculpture come alive. We love the way he continues to innovate and the way he uses the owl's body language to make them come alive. The big owl stands guard looking over her shoulder at our street corner, while two baby owls nestle in their little nooks below her. We love his work! And he's such a great person that we felt fortunate to spend time with him.

Such an amazing and talented artist. He was very quick as well. All the neighbors want a carving now as it’s so beautiful!
