I cannot express enough how you should avoid this business at all costs for anything related to outside catering. They may advertise that they can accommodate outside catering, but the fact of the matter is they cannot.
I am writing to any future prospect and customer who may come across this page to warn you not to book them for an event. It was an absolute disappointment regarding the caterer's actions and behavior at Chateau Lill on 9/22. The way they left the venue without checking out with the planner or the venue representative still during the event it’s disheartening. My team and I were shocked by the mess you left behind and the complete disregard for the space and for the people involved. The vendors, including my staff, were forced to clean up and manage the aftermath of your negligence, which is utterly unacceptable.
Also, your conduct and attitude toward the event planner was unprofessional, to say the least. As a business owner, certain standards of respect and collaboration are not only expected but required when working in the event industry. Unfortunately, you failed to meet even the most basic of these standards. How you treated everyone, including your decision to leave early without ensuring everything was in order, showed a complete lack of care.
Due to your lack of care and negligence, the client had to forfeit their security deposit with the venue, which was not their fault but yours. As vendors, we are here to help make this day, of all days, special—a wedding celebration—and your actions added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation.
I highly doubt you intend to offer any form of apology for your behavior. Frankly, I have no intention of working with you again or allowing you back at Chateau Lill. I hope you take this experience as a wake-up call and reflect on how your actions affect others, especially on a day that was supposed to be joyful for the client and her family.
You should be deeply ashamed of how you handled yourself on Sunday.
