Well, I have to say that the experience of staying at Cherry Wood is one of the most relaxing and fun places that my wife have ever visited. Pepper is an absolutely fabulous host. Every detail was perfect - from the teepee itself with wonderful foam top bed to the decor. Cherry Wood is a mix of rustic to upscale. The breakfast on the veranda was gourmet. Pepper is as adept at cooking as she is with her rescue horses. We took the horseback vineyard tour with Pepper and her daughter and had a blast. There is just something about riding through vineyards on horseback under a blue sky that is as calming as it is exciting. The wine tasting was fun (not enough to fall off the horse) and the lunch of wood fired pizza and roasted cheese stuffed peppers was enough to bring a satisfied smile to one's face! Watching the sun set over the valley and in the West over Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainer was more beautiful than any master could paint. Cherry Wood Bed, Breakfast and Barn is a must for anyone's bucket list!!!

It was a very nice experienced with friends to stay in Teepee tent - we called it Deluxe camping. It's cold at night and early morning but we managed it very well with a bonfire, having our barbeque dinner outside then soaked to the twilight tubs and check and count the stars. Pretty awesome experience. Pepper and her husband and their daughter Tiffany was a great and very helpful host. On top of the Teepee experienced we join the Wine tour with other guests riding the limo ( convertible limo). The breakfast was so delicious and healthy. Pepper and Tiffany's assistant (our limo driver and the cook) was so helpful and kind. When we're leaving, Pepper showed us their orchards and vineyards. Also their horses. After explaining to us how to be an Apple or Pears or Cherrypickers, we realized how hard the job is. We salute our fruit pickers and our local farmers too.

Pepper, the owner, is wonderful! We learned about her horse rescues and made the stay that much more meaningful. The accommodations were very comfortable. They remained cool at night and we stayed dry despite a thunderstorm the second night. Breakfast was a true highlight! Some of the best breakfast I’ve eaten!
