Take your kids and run the other direction. We have had the privilege of being involved several great little leagues over the years. This is not one of them.
Since tryouts we have not seen a single member of the board at any of our games. We have had several games cancelled due to rain on sunny days. I guess they must not know how to take care of the fields in between games.
We have had several games where there was no umpire. Parents have stepped up, myself included to at least let the kids get out there and play. Last night we had a game where the opposing teams manager filled in for the umpire, except he called the game from behind the pitchers mound and couldn't see if pitches were going across the plate.
I cannot express how unorganized this season has been and how bad a taste it has left in our mouths. My son has always enjoyed baseball and loved Little League. This year he just wants it to be over.
