I hadn't been to Chuck E Cheese in over a decade when I took my 3-year-old twins. They no longer have physical tickets. You get a card where you load "points" instead of tokens and the "tickets" are automatically added to the card when you finish playing. I don't like it. It's not fun to win the jackpot because there's no machine spitting hundreds of tickets at you. It's not about the prizes, It's about the 15 seconds of gloating while everyone sees you getting your tickets.
The food is good and what you would expect from a Chuck E Cheese. Maybe a bit better. We got the boneless wings with the sweet chili sauce, pineapple pizza, and sodas.
There's no playground area. It's all arcade games. There is a dance floor. There is a big seating area for parties. We got to meet Chuck. He's nice... for a giant mouse.
