Don’t go here for dog training, it’s punishing and unpleasant for dogs and people alike. Go to a force free trainer. Her manhandling and forcefulness will not work for sensitive dogs or people that don’t want to damage their relationship with them.

I've been bringing my dogs to Jan for nearly 30 years, many generations of border collies and aussies. Jan understands dogs and livestock. She will help you make any dog a better team player, whether you are bound for trialing or just helping you bring the best out of your dog. There is a lot to learn about dogs, stock and how to help your dog learn stock skills. Stick with it. Read books, attend a clinic and stay with it. The results are worth it

I have trained with Jan for herding for 7 years. Thanks to her my dog has gotten multiple High In Trials in sheep, cattle and ducks and has two Herding Championships. I have also trained with her with my young dog too and have also had great success as well.
Jan does so much for supporting both AKC and ASCA performance sports. I always appreciate all the support she has done for the Tracking community especially.
