Kirkland Oktoberfest 2022: Not bad, but not as good as previous years.
The music acts (e.g., Nite Wave) were awesome but there were some shortcomings in the venue. The concert stage was small and low to the ground (compared to other events, e.g., Kirkland Sumerfest). The stage and viewing area were under a tent and did not have good ventilation, making it hot for both the performers and the crowd.
Al's Gourmet Sausage was serving up delicious Kielbasa, Hickory Bacon Brats and more, but the line for Al's was long and surprisingly slow, especially considering they were the only sausage vendor at this Octoberfest.
While there was no secret tiki bar, if there had been it would have been classy, delicious and awesome.
Kirkland Octoberfest is a great event, but there's room for improvement with better planning by organizers and key vendors, especially considering the (not inexpensive) price of admission.
