Every time I've visited this place, the attitudes are just very snooty and Hollywood. The first couple of times I wrote it off as them having a bad day, but they always treat me this way. And to make it worse, I notice they don't treat their other clients this way. As a black woman, sometimes you can't help but wonder if you're being treated differently for that reason. I truly hope not. But the last time I visited, the cashier literally told me that I was unable to pay a particular way. 10 seconds later, a White woman completes her service, comes to the front desk, and asked the same exact question. The same same attendant told her it was fine to pay in that same form. I stepped back up, and said "I just asked the same question and you told me no." She said "ok", and now offered for me to pay the same way, with no apologies or anything. Just arrogant and pretentious.
The last time I went, although they say they take walk-ins, she told me I would have to wait an hour. And there wasn't one single person in the lobby. Granted the clients could have been back in the rooms getting lengthy services. But if you don't have a set up with enough staff to take people in a reasonable time, you shouldn't really advertise you take walk-ins. And honestly, I wouldn't make a big fuss over this if the women in front were just nice about it, but they're never nice. They are passive and dismissive, especially the one in particularI usually get, who's name I cannot recall. I've only been there 3 times, and this happened 2 out of the 3 times. The last time I went for a stroll while I was waiting my hour, and found a place a few doors down that is awesome, and they do vitamin injections. I've been going there ever since. They are so nice at my new place!
The 2 stars are just because the place is really cute and they offer good services. But my experience with the staff has been terrible, so I don't plan to return.
