I'd not believe that a little shop that just sells cigars could have such terrible service.
I went in for a cigar on my way through town on a trip. I went to the cigar humidor like I have at dozens of shops over the years. I heard the woman at the counter say to someone to ask if they needed help. Apparently she was talking to me.
I opened the case and grabbed my cigar as I've done at dozens of shops over the years. When I went up to the counter I was chastised for opening it and helping myself. I said I've never heard of such a rule and the rude woman condescendingly informed me she'd worked there for years and it had always been the rule. I clarified that I meant other smoke shops.
The real kicker is she told me the reason for the rule was because the doors fall off and the rule is to protect the customers.
IF YOUR EFFING DOORS FALL OFF THE PROBLEM IS NOT CUSTOMERS HELPING THEMSELVES. IT'S YOUR TERRIBLE AND DANGEROUS DOORS!
This place has dangerous, large glass doors they won't replace with something safe so they put little signs that say customers can't help themselves to cigars. Except apparently they're also too cheap to buy locks.
This place is a train wreck. For a place where the owners are obviously too cheap to maintain basic infrastructure I'd expect the prices to reflect it. No, it's as expensive as any other smoke shop.
