Let me start off by saying that I’ve had good experiences at this theatre but this weekend killed my goodwill. I was coming here for the Lord of the Rings weekend where they showed all three movies over the course of 3 days. Here’s the breakdown of my 3 nights there.
Day 1: Theater was clean and comfortable, although some noisy people in the theater, with someone near us leaving every ten minutes to go vape.
Day 2: No AC running and it became amazingly hot, along with a man who brought his child to a 4 hour movie, talked constantly and had his phone out multiple times. Went to workers to complain and they said they’d send someone in, nobody came.
Day 3: Dirty uncleaned theater with spilled popcorn everywhere and AGAIN no AC running on this day. It was easily 80 degrees or higher in the theater. Every single person around me was sweating. Once again told someone, they said they’d look into it. Nothing changed. But hey no annoying people this time!
Can’t believe I spent $85+ to spend a bad weekend watching movies I could have just watched at home. Was hoping for a good experience, as my wife had never seen the movies in theatres. But after this I definitely won’t be going back. With no guarantee to comfortable accommodations and unclean theaters mixed with disturbing guests, why would anyone do this to themselves?
