I don't know if obtaining a Plumbing Permit can get any easier but talk about a very simple and pain free experience. Thank you Emily and Jeannesha for your outstanding customer service!

The permit fees are absolutely ridiculous and they try to make you pay for things you don't need. Overall my permit ended up costing me $10,000 when it cost most other citizens $2,000. They wanted part of my land and made me deed it to the city before they'd give my permit. They did not pay for the land and they made me pay for all the filing fees of the deed. They also tried to make me pay to have the land surveyed when it didn't need to be. If I wouldn't have debated this I would have ended up wasting money on the survey that wasn't even necessary. I am deeply concerned with the way they conduct business. If this was a private company they would be out of business with the way they treat people.

The worst city inspector of all the cities in Washington. Harassing home owner and businesses during construction inspection. They never leave paper of corrections but only tells you what needed to be done and then come back say different things needed to be done. So the corrections is never in writing like other cities. They tell you this and that then next time come back tell you another thing needed done. Every time is a different problem because it is not written down the first time. The guy called Shannon is the guy that been giving people such a hard time. Even though he on Vacation but told the homeowner to wait for him to get back before inspection. He said he can swing by during vacation to see if we get it corrected. We needed investigation on this inspector because project is not moving at all. Such horrible City to be remodeling or building with permit. I would advise stay far away from city of Puyallup jurisdiction.
