I took my dog to City Paws expecting the same treatment I read about in a few 4 star reviews. However, what I experienced was just the opposite. When I arrived with my dog for our afternoon appt, I was asked to make sure I would be able to pick my dog up by a certain time because they had another appointment right in back of her. I said sure. 35 minutes later (30 minutes earlier than the intended pick up time, I get a text that tells me my dog is ready and can I get there. It was a sense of urgency to get my dog out. When my sitter arrived to get my dog, she noticed that my dog was coughing and she wasn’t coughing before going to City Paws. Since going to City Paws, my dog has been put on an antibiotic for a terrible cough that may be associated with the way her neck was held during grooming since she is an elderly dog. I do not recommend this place!

Picky. We are turned down for second-time appointment on Sept 5th as our first appointment happened on April 27 and it was “way passed 4 month” in their original words.
One of our dog hair grows slowly and still in good condition. Another dog started to get mat and we start to schedule the appointment for both of them(we bath them once two weeks and we comb/demat at home regularly.)
You can easily check the fact with me or you can put “4 month” requirements on your website and inform us during the first appointment. So I will know that this is not the pet salon we will go to. I sus myself as a good customer as spent almost $270 for two small (12 & 18 lbs) dogs.

Woody(Woo) is new to CPPS; and like most mommy’s I was nervous, but not for long. The groomer greeted us and took the time to bond with Woo and me. She asked and answered relevant questions which put me at easy. 1 1/2 hours later I picked up Woo. He was beautiful groomed and happy. They took care of my baby like he was their own. I immediately booked Woo’s next appointment.
