Great Product, and Great customer service. It is nice to see a company that still really cares! Their LED track and recessed offers a quality of light not found in any other LED product that I have seen to date.
I have been working with this company for many years, and they always deliver great quality, customer service, and innovation.
I am a residential lighting and lighting control contractor. We contracted a local lighting designer to do a design the lighting for a home we bid the controls on and at his suggestion (and against my better judgement) we used Clarte fixtures to light the home.
Every single fixture had performance issues, all flickered and buzzed when dimming down. At first Clarte blamed our lighting controls but when I pulled several fixtures down from the client's house and took them back to our test bench and used Clarte's recommended dimmers to control them they still had the same problems.
Clarte ended up sending us replacement drivers for every single fixture but refused to pay the labor necessary to perform the replacement.
We also had Clarte custom build 3 fixtures for us that failed to perform to their promised specifications. We pulled them out of the ceiling on two separate occasions to send them back to Clarte to have them rebuilt and wasted dozens of hours troubleshooting and adjusting them to try to get them to fulfill their purpose and they never did. We ended up using another manufacturer to complete the work instead.
In the end Clarte is refusing to take back these fixtures for a refund even though they never did what they were supposed to.
Clarte's fixtures are obviously cheaply built when compared to other similarly priced fixtures and their customer service is underwhelming to say the least. I HIGHLY recommend steering clear of this manufacturer for your lighting needs.
