I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. Tanya and her team truly deserve all the praise they can get. I cannot stress enough how much of a lifesaver Tanya was during a difficult time in my life. My mom had been staying at an Assisted Living facility after a surgery that did not go as planned, and the care she was receiving at home was no longer sufficient. With my sister and I living in Seattle and working full-time, it was challenging to provide in-home care for our mother from afar. Respecting our mom’s wishes was important to us, as she had no interest in relocating to Seattle. Thankfully, Tanya came to our aid as a guardian angel precisely when we needed her most.
It was a challenging time for everyone when my mom was in an Assisted Living facility during the Covid outbreak. She wasn't getting the one-on-one care she required, and it was tough for patients, family members, and caregivers, as well as the staff at the facility. Luckily, my mom's hospice nurse recommended Tanya, and I contacted her right away. Within 24 hours, she arrived at the facility and assessed my mom's needs to see if Classy Retreat would be a good fit for her. It was a blessing since Tanya's Adult Family Home is renowned for providing exceptional care, and openings are rare. Within days, Tanya moved my mom out of the Assisted Living facility and into her Adult Family Home. Despite Covid-related restrictions and me being far away, Tanya and her team took care of everything!
Classy Retreat is a beautiful, warm, and inviting home. My Mom's room overlooked the serene backyard and was tailored to her needs. Thanks to the exceptional care from Tanya and her team, all of whom are nurses, my mom’s health even improved during her stay. They provided her with professional and personalized one-on-one care, treating her like a cherished family member. Every time we visited, we were greeted with open arms, and the caregivers always ensured our comfort. My Mom was always well-cared for, content, and stress-free while living there, and she passed away peacefully and quickly while at Classy Retreat. I am forever grateful for the level of respect and care that Tanya and her team provided my mom, even after her passing, which brings me to tears every time I think about it.
Before my mom lived in an Adult Family Home, I was skeptical about their benefits. However, finding the right one proved to be crucial. As a long-distance caregiver, I cannot emphasize enough the relief and peace of mind I experienced knowing that my Mom was receiving the best possible care. If anyone is interested, I would be more than happy to share my exceptional experience with them.
