We found it very difficult to find a way to get into the individual care system when we first moved to the area of Kamiah. We went to three other hospitals in the system trying to get signed up with a health care provider only to be told that no one would see us until they had our records. We finally got Kamiah clinic to send for our records, then we were permitted access to a doctor. There needs be some training for the Kamiah personnel in the area of " people skills". Those that we talked with would not listen to a complete sentence until they heard a .......buzzzword......that triggered them into thinking up something to say in return, leaving the rest of a comment from us as not heard or understood. The key to good communication is ........listening to a complete statement without interuption.
