we're back at doc Ram's office again (his nickname) and let me just tell the skeptical parents out there, this guy is thorough,...... if you're really NOT interested about how your child is REALLY DOING< then definitely go somewhere else. but if you genuinely want to know, what am I doing right, what am I doing wrong, THIS IS YOUR GUY!!! I've never felt he was being judgemental, or anything. His accent is very thick and sometimes he's a little hard to understand, but if you simply ask him to repeat, or maybe reexplain something you're not quite understanding, JUST ASK HIM, you won't even be done asking, Before he's trying to explain better, and uses hand signs, and will even sketch a picture!! LOL.... my son and I are both diagnosed ADHD, and he can't help with that stuff, but that's the only negative thing I have to say about seeing him off and on for the last seven years. thanks dr. ram for ALL that you do, and your nurses, and assistants, EVERY one is nice , compassionate, worth the wait, I can't think of anything else so, I absolutely recommend .
The current reviews about this office are completely outdated and now inaccurate. I was nervous coming here because of the reviews, but I now realize that this is a gross misrepresentation of this place. I had the most wonderful experience coming here. I have a four year old and a newborn and I’ve seen a few pediatricians and honestly this was the best experience I ever had with my kiddos.
The front desk Staff are warm, friendly and welcoming and very courteous. Office is clean, spacious and easy to find. They have separate entrances for wellness checkups/vaccines and sick children - and I mean a completely separate door and waiting room, not just the other side of the office. We were seen very quickly and on time with minimal waiting time. The doctor and the nurses were absolutely wonderful! Warm, gentle, caring and extremely knowledgeable and informative. They were very respectful of our decisions and choices, very non-judgemental while being very Informative at the same time. They absolutely DO answer the phones. They absolutely DO have an after hours call line with a doctor on call after hours.
I was very happy with my experience here and so grateful to have such amazing medical services available here in Astoria. I cannot praise them enough. As a mommy, I can honestly and whole-Heartedly recommend this pediatric clinic.
