Really overpriced for internet, and just because the outside of my house doesn't look all that appealing, due to me renovating, they felt the need not to call me back. Well save to say I dodged a bullet from them.

I received a prompt from Google to review this company. When I actually attempted to see the reviews from this company the internet went down for the evening. This happens occasionally as we are subject to some pretty intense weather and it had been really stormy. The next day the internet was working again for a while. It went down and I called tech support and as always they were very helpful, knowledgeable and got me back up with a simple modem reboot. The only reason Coast Communications doesn't get 5 stars is the cost. They are 2 1/5 times the price of comparable internet in a more populated area. The other thing is the government has reduced internet pricing for rural areas but Coast Communications doesn't participate??? Also this review doesn't really matter as Coast Communications is the only option for Ocean Shores but I can always hope that someday we will get an alternative or at least an option of reduced cost.

I love their local customer service. I keep being surprised that when I contact them for service they not only answer their phone but sometimes I'll get a local callback to let me know they heard my question/issue and are addressing it. And updates! The installation/repair person has also been great. I experienced intermittent outages that appear to have thankfully been fixed. All in all, between their impressive customer service and prompt responses to any issues there is no reason for me to consider changing providers. It's always good to shop and support local when possible :)
