Glen was so nice over the phone when I called to see if I could come in for a same day car wash + vacuum ($20 each). He said they were a detail shop and had high powered vacs for the job so I was stoked to get my car cleaned.
I got there around 1130am and the guys took my car back within 10 minutes and they finished in about 1hr. Had high hopes for this place since Glen spoke with such excitement and promise but I got my car and I regretted bringing it here because the job was something I coulda done at a $10 do it yourself place. The workers couldn’t even vacuum the crumbs I had in my center cup holders, throw away the top I had in it (already threw out most things in my car prior to getting there), or get in the crevices of my seat. I wasn’t expecting for them to wipe it down because that’s not what I paid for but dude, this is a BASIC vacuum job anyone should be able to do. The photos were as soon as I got in my car, kid you not.
The car wash was fine, there were water marks on my windows and side rear mirrors. After the fact when I was driving at night, I noticed tons of glare off my mirror when driving. They must have sprayed something on it to leave it streaky because washer fluid didn’t take it away. For for me to pay $43 after tax, this was a rip off lazy job if I’ve ever seen one.
