I have had foot pain for over 10 years that got progressively worse. I saw multiple podiatrist who all had the same thought: surgery, hardware, Non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks. The conversations were always centered on fix the complaint but the cause of the complaint.
Having had six shoulder surgeries - "non weight bearing" is not an option in my life. I also chase around a 2-year-old granddaughter almost daily.
I was referred to Dr. Nunez by a friend he had recently operated on.
Having worked in the medical field for over 20 years - I have very high standards for medical offices. The office is clean. The staff is very personable and attentive.
After having a fairly in-depth conversations with Dr. Nunez and learning he believes that you don't fix the problem the complaint comes back. He spoke my language.
Dr. Nunez operated on my left foot March 1. I walked out of the office post op.
It went so well I scheduled my right foot for early June.
I would also like to add - after hours communication is excellent.
I highly recommend seeking out Dr. Nunez for foot surgery.
