Food and drinks were fine but not worth the poor service. The man at the register said he would bring my drinks and food out to me - but instead, had me come to the counter. He then brought out the drinks for the girls next to me. Not sure if it was based on skin tone so this review is for anyone who is Black and checks reviews before visiting establishments.

I have tried this place several times, as the customer service and coffee drinks are great. Yesterday, a friend and I ordered the blue lavender latte and within an hour we both had serious GI issues. It affected my entire day. After reading about the main ingredient, butterfly pea flower, I learned that symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea may take place. There are warnings of keeping it away from children and pregnant women also. It would have been nice to know the risk factors before buying.

Whenever I go to a new to me coffee shop I get a vanilla latte so I can compare apples to apples. However I felt particularly pulled to the laurel latte so I got that. 10/10 would recommend. I also got a blueberry muffin and it was moist, perfect amount of sweetness, and had some substance. The environment is so welcoming and kind. I felt like I could be friends with everyone that was there. There were some people working on laptops and others socializing. The experience, decor, and quality of my beverage and food was exceptional. I’ll be back (perhaps every week).
