This is a fun lake front park, well kept lawn areas a perfect for quiet family picnics (over 10 picnic tables with umbrellas and views of lake; however my low rating is die to the horrible small dirty pen with two obese goats that have no room to roam, goats need at least an acre. Also there are chickens and one rooster that appear o In OK health but they (again) have little room to roam, scratch clean dirt for bugs, walk on grass or room to dust themselves. But worse if all is a sweet Turkey named Cinnamon. She appears to be in major distress plucking out her feathers. The staff does love her but she needs attention and possibly should be rehomed to a place to restore her health. The goats and chickens would probably be fine, if the park owners would simply give them more space to walk and exercise on grass (even a few hours each day.
Decent park but mostly setup for day use people. Rv spots are only available for 7 days max stay even though they do have people who look to be there full time. Rules are kind of contradictory as it will say for example no boats or trailers in your rv spot but there was another rv with a big boat next to their rv. Not much roaming room for pets. Only 1 washer and 2 dryers in the small room.
30amp and water only, had to use a dump station.
Not very pet friendly as there really isn’t much space to walk your pet if you are staying in the rv. You can’t walk them on the day use spot which is the most grassiest spot before you get to the water. Only spot was really just a small road that is the boat launch next to another day use spot. If that day use spot is full with people outside there’s really no other option to walk your pet. Pets must be on leash even sitting outside of the rv.
At the start of the stay you can only book up to 3 days “to see if you are good fit” for the park as the workers explains. This made up feel like we were walking on pins and needles because no other RV Park had an opening until the weekend so we had to be on pins and needles to not get kicked out. Felt like we couldn’t even enjoy ourselves by just sitting outside afraid to get kicked out. We aren’t the people to drink or smoke or party just was simply here for work. This made our stay less enjoyable.
Overall it was an ok park, if you’re just passing through for a night or two without any pets. It was really quiet, the vibes of the park are a bit off & the park didn’t feel super welcoming & comfortable to be in for long periods of time
