We stayed on Oct 5-6 and upon arrival, front desk clerk was wonderful! She was informative and friendly. Really had us excited for stay. But things went down hill over the next 18 hrs. The room was ok. Good size. But I immediately noticed the beds were not Queen size as I had chosen. They were double. I was a tad nervous about the condition of the beds. Clerk said they had been replaced back in March of this year but they were sagging in the center and I was concerned how old they really were. But sheets and blankets were clean and bed was really comfy. Carpets were damp, so we kept our shoes on until bed. Later we needed a knife for our food and returned to front desk. There was a new desk attendant, male, who wasn't really helpful. Or too friendly. Lazy is the appropriate word. He actually looked annoyed we were bothering him at 8 at night. We never got a knife. Next morning, we went to down to check out what the original desk attendant said was their "award winning breakfast". It was basic. Subpar. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and some muffins and bread. I did notice on the ceiling above the waffle station, globs of dusty cobwebs hanging and literally blowing slightly from the central air vent, ready to fall. I didn't eat any waffles. But low and behold, a whole container of KNIVES. I asked new desk clerk if plastic utensils were accessabIe other hours of the day. She said yes. If we needed anything like plates or silverware, the desk clerk just needed to unlock the kitchen and get one. I was ready to go by this point. As we got to our car, the worst was awaiting us. Our car, plus five others, were broken into!!! My passenger window was shattered. Nothing was taken as we didn't have anything but bottled waters and sunglasses in the car. Apparently the police were already called and a business card with a case number was in our driver side window. Manager did nothing! She just said sorry and went on her way. I will never stay in this neighborhood again or this hotel. Manager could have offered an extended stay while we figured out how to fix our window as we had a long drive home. But no ...we sat in the lobby until we could figure out what to do ON A SUNDAY. So we booked a Marriott in Bellevue, who were VERY accommodating. When we told our story, they offered us a free drink at their bar, and $20 in snacks from their mini store. ❤️
