It was nice back when the shelter was open to the public without tests or special permissions. Although, there is opportunity for the average person to get back on their feet from a hardship in their lives, it is difficult for a person that is seeking a different kind of life than the so-called American way of being nowadays, to prosper.

It is a safe place to go if you're in need. Staff is friendly and will help direct you to resources that ARE AVAILABLE (they can only help, with what they're given to work with).

The community is so very supportive of this which is wonderful. It offers a dinner every night for homeless, and other folks having a hard time making ends meet, prepared and served by numerous community organizations and churches. Other services offered at certain times such as showers, case management, etc. Good people doing good things in our community.
