I used them two years ago. They did a decent job. I have tried for 3 weeks to schedule another appt. The response was slow and not very interested in my simple tree trimming job. I was just put off for a possible call in a month or so. I have a small job. I asked or a morning appt. almost two months in advance...
I am a small business owner too. You do not treat repeat customers in such a rude manner. I now regret referring two friends to them for big jobs. There are a lot of tree trimmers in the area. I would suggest trying another trimmer.

I hired Alex to cut a large overgrown Chinese Flame Tree, then asked him back to do 2 oak trees. He and his crew did an outstanding job, thinning out the trees where needed, leaving the true shape of the tree and they look healthy and beautiful. He even cleared a big pile of clippings I did myself and couldn't fit in my trashcan. One bid from another company was $850 for one tree (INSANE!!)... Alex did it for $350. Very reasonable price, in the range I was expecting. And they return your calls!

I have utilized Conejo Valley Tree Service for over 15 years for all our trees. He is the best I have ever hired. Alex knows the type of tree, its growth habits, natural shape and best time of the year to address its pruning needs. He does not over prune or leave visible stumps on branches when reducing the size of the tree. He lets you know honestly when pruning would be needed again. He has even told me its not time to prune my trees yet when he easily could have. I've found him to be reliable, dependable and highly skilled.
