Owning rental property in California gets more challenging every year. My property managers at Consensys (Xacil and Gabby) have helped me deal with the confusing rent control laws, tenant COVID relief programs and the new balcony bill. There have been a lot issues, especially during the past few years but it’s a relief to know I can trust them with my properties.

I’ve worked with Xecil for about a year and a half now and my experience with her has not only been professional but she has gone above and beyond for me and my daughter. I would recommend ConsensYs to my friends and family just based upon the fact that they have employees that genuinely care about their community and tenants. I had issues with a landlord not taking care of maintenance and consensys stepped in took care of my maintenance issues. I moved apartments that Xecil helped me find and move into quickly my situation was horrible at prior apartments that they no longer managed Xecil stayed in touch with me and made sure to move me into somewhere that me and my daughter were comfortable not only that but when I did move in and I’ve had a couple of maintenance calls since then they have been so fast and so helpful and so nice and professional I’m so happy with where I’m at and appreciate this companies consistently caring about us

This company is absolutely horrendous to deal with (if you can get them to respond). I've had several issues with them and it feels like pulling teeth to get anything done. I rarely get a response from Stacey Garcia and when I do it's days later. Currently, I'm being overcharged for my HOA dues and I reached out to get this rectified but got no help. They are quick to charge you a late fee if you don't pay on time but when they overcharge you, it's radio silent. The building's been warned to not reach out to board members directly as their service is voluntary, which I completely agreed with. But if you can't reach out to anyone from the HOA and the property management company doesn't reply to you, what do you do?
