I went to this studio in October and the instructor asked if I would like to get 2 sessions for the month for about $50. I said yes and paid for 2 sessions, however I was only able to make it there once in October. I am fine with paying for 2 sessions because I agreed on that. I never called them to add a monthly member ship since the October visit. When I looked at my credit card bill, I found CorePower Yoga charged me $159 in November. Who give them the authority to charge me a monthly fee without my permission? This is pure robbery! I am very angry and disappointed with this unethical behavior. If I didn’t check my credit card history, I wouldn’t even notice this charge. Do you cheat every customer this way?
Back in March, 2020 when the pandemic started, I had a monthly membership and I asked to cancel it. Customer service was non existent when I called and it charged me for a month even when the studios were closed and I wasn’t able to go there for a month. I forgave them 1 month membership fee at that time because I was sympathetic with the difficulty they were going through and didn’t ask for a refund. Now I changed my mind about this business.
Update: I did get my refund after calling customer service and threatened a lawsuit. This studio is fine and the staff was professional and friendly, but I will not come back to CorePower Yoga again. I blame on their deceitful system.
