UPDATE 7/29/2023 I have since been approved to be on their priority pool waitlist. I call and check in once a week. I am currently on hold now for 15 minutes waiting to check in. They are open, so I hope someone will answer before the battery on my phone dies. I will keep my 1 star rating for now. After being denied for help 4 times in the past 27 months, I don't know if I will even receive any help. I'm a female, 50 years old, disabled, homeless and sick. I have medical procedures I need to schedule for, but without a safe place to live, I can't schedule.
My therapist called this place 2 days ago. Because I was staying in a motel temporarily (funded by an organization) I do not qualify for funding! I am homeless, and apparently if you are receiving ANY help, you do not qualify. They are too busy throwing money at illegals that don't belong here! The woman that answered the phone at this place was absolutely rude to my therapist. We can do better people! We need to support our own, not those that don't belong here! I worked my butt off pre COVID, only to be denied help. These people need to be trained in how to talk to people. Thanks for making me feel even more useless and unseen.
