Im extremely disappointed this time around. I took my son here for an appointment. My son was assisted by Ms. Villarreal. Although Ms, Villarreal seemed sweet, I had showed her a picture of the hair cut I wanted for my son which seemed basic to follow through with. She went on ahead to do her own hair cut for my son. I was not pleased ☹️ My son had curly hair, I had mentioned I still wanted his curls on top..his curls were gone. After I left my son who is 9 had mentioned that she wet his forehead and his neck with water and my son mentioned was too hot but my son is shy so he didn't say anything, Ms. Villarreal had asked him if it was okay but she didn't proceed to ask me as I am the adult and his mother. Also I believe his name is John, seems like a super humble guy had charged other clients kids $20 while Ms. Villarreal charged me $25. I don't want to seem like Im complaining for just $5 but times are hard and I thought it would have been fair to have been charged $20 as well. This comment isnt intended to make Ms. Villarreal upset in any way, I just want to share my experience as constructive criticism so she may continue to perfect customer service and work ethics. Overall everything else was good. I love the fact that they played funny videos on the TV's it brings alot of joy while waiting for you appt. I have been here 2 other times in the past and I had never had a problem. I love the updated look.
To whom replied: With all do respect even if the price was shown online, in person it was shown that it was a child receiving the haircut. I do not think it is neither just or right to charge a child's haircut online $25 and then walk into the shop and charge every other child $20. How would that make a customer feel? Also I had shown Ms. Villarreal the haircut I wanted exactly, there is no need to keep asking the client if this is okay if a picture was shown how they wanted it. Also future reference defending yourself as a barber shop instead of apologizing is lacking hospitality etiquette. I wish you all the best and thank you.
