I stopped by Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens to visit my mothers grave. I am from out of state and admittedly don't visit as often as I should. To my dismay her head stone was gone from view. Covenant Funeral Home is now at the Cemetery and the funeral directors were in the office. I was distraught to say the least. Rich and Susan Phillips were so kind, caring and helpful. Rich helped us unearth Mom's head stone, over the years it had sunk out of sight. Rich promised he would make it his priority and responsibility to reset Mom's stone and that he would also straighten my Grandmother's stone. He did this work the first thing the following day on his own time and without any remuneration for his time. Susan took a picture and sent it to me in a text. These people are wonderful and I am sure their Funeral Home and Cremation Services would be handled with the same care and compassion shown to me. Thank you Rich and Susan I will always remember your thoughtfulness Ann Bennett
I want to take a moment & let you know how amazing Rich & Susan Phillips are. In 2021, my Grandma passed away. The hospital denied us of saying goodbye before she passed away. After she passed, we weren't allowed to see her body. Rich arranged for our entire family to see her safely. In 2022, we lost Uncle Alan & yet again these two amazing people were there for us during this difficult time for our family. This weekend, we lost another loved one. The nursing home was being very unprofessional during this process but Covenant Funeral Home was there to help & comfort. They greeted us with open arms & allowed us a private viewing this evening.
You have to have a special calling to support families during such a difficult time & they do. Thank you so much Rich & Susan. We love you both!
