This company from an Employer stand point was not the best experience. They stated that the position would be filled at $25- $30 an hour and that they would charge between 10%- 15% commission for the annual salary negotiated. This company offered me $30 an hour right from the gate and charged the employer 25% commission. The employer never had anything in writing, they never did a formal contract, and were invoiced the date of the offer letter that was 3 weeks prior to the employment start date with 10 days to pay. From a placement stand point, the agent pressured me to ask for more money than the $30 that was the rate I was looking for. They didn't offer benefits and she felt I should ask for more money. I'm like, "No, don't make me lose this position, I want this job offer". So I declined that and told the company directly what I wanted and vacation only. I felt pressured from the agent about that and was SHOCKED when I was handed the invoice to pay my second week of employment (as the bookkeeper for the company). I know I was not a part of this negotiation, but I am still appalled at the lack of clarification on this agency's part to their client for their services. I feel they took advantage by not putting anything in writing. Please be aware of this tactic and ENSURE you get it in writing before hiring CFS for their services.
I have faith that CFS will do the right thing. In today's world repeat clients and referrals (even reviews) are all you have. I am coming from the opposite side of this, as the companies that turn to CFS for temporary hires. Please, read the fine print... For example, if the hiring company decides that they'd like to keep the temporary hire, what "fee" will they need to pay..? From a business stand point, if that "fee" is ridiculous, why would any company turn to CFS again?. Yes, if the temp is worth it, they may pay, but again, I can guarantee they will never turn to CFS again. And honestly, my experience as a temp with CFS, was a good expirence, until the company I was working for was charged this outrageous fee.
And no need to respond. I've already emailed your staff*
