This spot offers a fun painting experience with various items like pots, model ceramic animals and plates, but it's a tad pricey; expect around $25 for a small dish/ashtray. However, painting time and paint usage are unlimited. Not ideal for quiet dates due to occasional noisy children. Friendly and helpful staff members. Just a heads up, art pickup requires one week.

I still love painting at CY. :) it's been my go to shop for a long time and the owners are amazing! There are always new pieces and new things to try. I'm so glad they are still here through the pandemic and are as fun and amazing as ever!
Helpful hints:
1) Park by Joann's and walk through to the mall. Turn left when you get to the mall and the shop will be down the way on the left by the carousel.
2) Start with your lightest colors 1st
3) Make sure you paint 3 coats of paint, drying your piece between if you want a solid colors
4) Take notes about what colors you used if you need more than one visit for you piece
5) Take a photo of your piece when you turn it in to make claiming it easier. (Plus the before and after are fun)

I painted a piece here back in May and bought a second one that I didn’t finish at the time. I was told at checkout that if I washed any prior the paint off, I would be able to return/exchange for a different piece. I came back in December because I don’t live out here, I visit someone. I was quite rudely told they do not take returns, period. This piece I have is now completely paint-less and I no longer have a purpose for this bowl. I was really hoping to swap it for a mug, for a set I was planning to purchase and paint. Experience was disappointing, wouldn’t recommend funding this business.
