Working for a client who lives here. I waited outside for 15 minutes. Rang the door bell, my company couldn’t get a hold of anyone. A med delivery was also waiting. Finally not a worker but a family member came out of the door which allowed us access in (THIS IS NOT SAFE IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM) No one was anywhere to be found near reception desk or on the floor. Had to find my way to the second floor and to my clients apartment. It was very nerve racking and uncomfortable. I’m assuming extremely understaffed.
Comfortable, modern, well decorated environment. Best food by far in any long-term care residence. The dining staff are superb; they remember every resident's name and dining needs. The front desk staff, when they are not on break and administration staff take over, are knowledgable, kind, and handle crises with common sense. Housekeeping staff take a personal interest in residents and have been exceptional. Unfortunately, the weak link is the care staff. There is no on-site RN. The wellness director is an LPN and hard to find. There are numerous excellent individuals, but the facility is severely understaffed. Getting a response to the emergency call bell takes a very long time, especially on weekends. I saw residents doing exercises to a tape recorded voice! Yuk.
