I don’t have a son but if I did I would definitely take him here. I don’t have a son yet but if I did I think that he would look somewhat like me and play similar sports as me. I picture him being a slightly above average height and a normal weight, or even a tad bit overweight cause that if perfectly normal. When I was a young child I was overweight so I could relate to my son and tell him that he is ok just the way he is. But when I was younger the other boys would call me “chubster” and I don’t want my possible future son to have the same experience. I think I would try to keep him active and maybe have him play little league and maybe some basketball. I would also want him to eat healthy which I did not have the opportunity to do because my father died at a young age which cause my mom to have to work 2 jobs leaving there nobody to cook me dinner. I remember sitting at that kitchen table all by myself with my frozen pizza and my milk just wishing I wasn’t alone. Loneliness can really be one of the most terrible things a human can experience because there really is not much you can do about it. I find myself feeling lonely as an adult because I am not married, have no kids and my family has all either moved away or passes away. Dealing with death is another thing I have had to go through and I am almost glad my future son won’t have to go through that with my parents who have already both passed away. I remember the day my mother died far better than when my father died and I remember feeling the ever longing sense of emptiness which just devoured your soul. So to reiterate if I had a son I would take him here. 5 STARS

Great park with a lot of open space. There are signs for rattle snakes. Has a small structure for kids to play and a basketball court. Not busy during weekdays. Took off a star because of the seclusion, always have your eyes on your kids. There's a lot of greenery.

A good place to come if you want to go to a park. The times when I came, it was pretty much empty. There is also a dog park where your dog can run around and meet others. Basketball court is nice, outdoors though.
