They've just been bought out and now the workers know even less of what's going on. The one guy who used to know stuff is now gone. Calling customer service gets you zero help too. Other than being super cheap and having decent signals/speed, it's hard to recommend Cricket until they start practicing better customer service.
Docked another star. As of January 2022, they will start SUSPENDING service of certain of phones WITHOUT WARNING. Abandon ship!
Bought a phone from cricket 3 days ago. Apparently it was the last of it's kind because it was the "store model" . The kid told me he would give me a good deal on it cause it was the last one. Okay. Get home start using the phone and the screen goes black. The phone is on but you can't see or use any of the functions because the screen is black. Apparently needed a hard reset. Today go back to cricket to return faulty phone and told they can't give me a refund because it was a display phone and they don't do that. Excuse me are you saying I'm out 300+ dollars for a phone that doesn't work? Kid who sold me the phone never mentioned no returns on this particular phone. And mind you he REALLY was pushing to sell me this model of phone. Shame on me. Cricket needs to make this right and give me my money back!!
Edit: paid 295 for phone and accessories and was only given back 220? Minus the activation fee. looks like someone pocketed 60 of my own money for themselves. Will be changing phone providers ASAP.
