We purchased a Vari-kennel crate bed for one of our standard dachshunds when we were at the Hurricane Ridge K.C. show. The male dog loved it so much, he claimed it for himself.
The bed is quite plush. The bottom of the bed is about 1-1/2" thick and the sides are about 6" high. It is reversible with a sturdy, cool cotton (with a butterfly pattern) fabric on one side and a warmer fleece material on the other side. Great for the change in seasonal temperatures! The fabrics and the stitching are high quality and the bed is extremely sturdy. This is the first bed that my dogs have not shredded and torn to pieces. I would highly recommend this bed.
