Don’t go here. They gave away a “small amount” of ashes, and fingerprint pin information to someone that was not on the legal documentation and not biologically related. Then the employee lied to our face and said all of the ashes were present. The employee should be terminated for that.
I have used Crown Memorial twice and both of those experiences were excellent. Once was many years ago and the other has been over the last month. They recently cremated a good friend of mine. Crown Memorial was patient, compassionate, very reasonable in cost, and easy for me to arrange in a time I was totally out of sorts and stressed out. They were flexible when I had to make changes.
I know their reviews are all over the place and I believe some of the bad reviews were due to different management that is no longer with the company. About a year ago I tried to get information and didn't have the service I experienced years ago. A month ago, I was again in need of cremation, I called them because I was hoping things had gotten better and was just too worn out to have to "shop" for cremation for an unexpected death. I am very happy I called.
When my loved one passed, I let the hospital know I had chosen to work with Bruce at Crown Memorial. They spoke praise of him and were not wrong in the least. I will seek Bruce out of he ever leaves. They other staff were really nice at Crown, but Bruce really helped me keep calm and not be embarrassed when I was a bit of a mess.
Thank you Crown Memorial!!!!
