If you want your kitchen renovation project done on time and correctly, have the finished product exceed your expectations, and with as little stress as possible, Kitchen Design is your person. Having come off a home project that did not go well, I wanted to be sure we got it right regarding our kitchen re-do. I wanted the best, an expert who managed the project so I did not have to worry about all the details. I wanted to be sure the people they brought into my home were trustworthy, experienced, and the best. Lisa Cannelora and Cucina Kitchen Design did all this and more; they knocked it out of the park.
I am very good at organizing and project management, but kitchen redesign and remodeling are not my area of expertise, so I wanted someone who could do it better than I could. From the moment we consulted with her, we were so impressed by her breadth and depth of knowledge she helped distill down what we wanted with accurate, honest information. Once we started the project, she was always in touch and oversaw all the details. She was responsive and frequently on-site to supervise.
Additionally, the contractor and all subs were top-notch. Because of Lisa's experience and the fact that she had been a professional chef, every day I cook in my kitchen, I marvel at what a master she was with her suggestions; it is such a joy to cook.
A neighbor came by to see our remodel and decided she would do it herself. BIG MISTAKE- her remodel went on for months, the contractor damaged other parts of her home, walked off the job, and when appliances and cabinets arrived, they did not fit; there was so much stress, and in the end, it was never right. Our kitchen remodel was done on budget and on time.
So, if you want your kitchen remodel to be handled professionally, with the least amount of stress, and with top-notch service, hire Cucina Kitchen Design; not only was it a pleasure to work with Lisa, but we also had fun, and we love cooking in our kitchen.

We worked with Lisa Cannelora for two projects in the last few years. First, she totally redesigned our kitchen and breakfast room, and opened them up to the rest of the house. As a former chef, she knew just how the work would flow in the kitchen, and we love the layout of the cabinets and appliances. It is so convenient and functional; we love cooking and eating there.
Next, her staff designed and refurbished our main upstairs bathroom, and a small half bath off our basement den. While the layouts did not change, the products they used are great, and we are very happy with both jobs.
The contractors Lisa selected for each project were great, and we have used one of them for another project at our Tahoe vacation home. Lisa also helped with design, layouts and product selection there.
Lisa's consultations and project management oversight were extremely valuable in getting the design and work done properly and in a timely way. She certainly provides what we consider premier customer service. She was always responsive and was easy to reach and talk to. We greatly enjoyed the experience of collaborating with her as she helped us achieve our goals for our home.
