Horrible service. I had many people to tell me to try this but place, I brought my family in for dinner and we were sat in the back of the restaurant.. then ignored for about 20 minutes. We came ready to splurge on a nice dinner but I am so embarrassed I took my family here. When the waitress finally came around she proceeded to pass us over and went to a couple that was seated after us. There was plenty of staff and how embarrassing for them that no one wanted to help us. We talked to the manager who could care less.

I will first off say the servers here are amazing. They have the attentiveness, professionalism and appearance of fine dining, even on a random Wednesday and even despite the language barrier we faced. Nothing bad to say about them. The kitchen, however, I was not impressed with. It was pretty empty when we ordered yet it took 30 minutes just to get appetizers. Okay, no big deal, I'm here to enjoy the experience not be in a rush so I let it go. But then we get the appetizers and the empanadas were burnt. What bugged me about this is that they were clearly burned, some parts literally disintegrating and black, yet someone in the kitchen decided to plate it up, dress it with sauces and serve it to us. I was genuinely shocked. It was not a dish you can burn and accidentally serve. You had to pick up each empanada, fix it on the plate and dress it, so that is just complete apathy in my experience. The other appetizer was simple and easy. Poor presentation but tasted fine for a shrimp cocktail. The coconut horchata is fantastic. Chia lemonade was nice. Now to the entrees. Language barrier made us accidentally order the same thing we had as an appetizer but in a different form. Annoying on my part but whatever. We aren't the type to waste food, so we just ate it. My dude ended up eating the empanadas and just throwing out the too burnt to eat parts. My rice and beans were not very good, somewhat bland and were almost cold. My shrimp rancheros were pretty good but the sauce is watery. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be because I've never had it like that. Still tasted good. The 24k sushi roll was BOMB. I dont like sushi usually yet I was very impressed with the flavor and beautiful presentation of this dish. It is absolutely worth the money. Finally, the DJ. When we walked in it was quiet and then the DJ came in and set up. It then became so loud in an almost empty restaurant that we just decided to get out of there instead of trying dessert. Even the servers looked annoyed and I swear I watched them tell him to turn it down and he didn't. Idk what that was about but it just killed my whole vibe. We ended up spending over $200 including the tip and we left feeling like we wasted our money. We are used to dropping $200-$300 for dinner, both of us being an experienced cook and an actual chef, so we are not looking for cheapness. We are willing to pay for quality but it just wasnt there. The good things were great, everything else is mediocre at best. also, to be fair, I'm sure this place would've replaced the food I'm complaining about but I feel like this is the experience you offered me so this is what I am going to go off of. I shouldn't have to ask for replacements and waste food. Care about the quality. We went despite the bad reviews because everyone knows yelp isnt accurate but unfortunately yelp was right about this one. I personally won't be going back but I think this could be a fun place at night more like a nightclub than a restaurant. Beautiful place overall. Food needs works.

See food was good, tostadas de pescado, camarones zarandeados y pescado zarandeado was good! Sushi rolls are not good at all. Lets leave sushi to Japanese restaurants 😅. Plus they took so long to bring it. We almost forgot about our sushi. They can do better quality with alcoholic drinks.
