This pharmacy is grossly understaffed. I just waited on hold for 43 minutes to talk to the pharmacist for a discrepancy in a prescription that should have been noticed by the pharmacist. There is often only one cashier. CVS, you are letting profits get in the way of providing essential pharmacy services.

Just finished shopping at CVS. I shop and use the pharmacy out of habit. The people are generally polite, but the service experience is often bad as they often are short checkers for the crowd, and do not have people on the floor to answer questions or open locked cabinets.. But this time, the checkout was slow and the checker was overtly snide and rude. Though I think he lacks self awareness and and is clueless to customer experience. While I was checking out, I mentioned to Robert that I was going to check my email for a coupon. At that time he said, "there is a line". I was well aware that there was a line, as I waited in it too long and now was faced with a snotty checker. I asked if he was telling me to hurry up. He said yes, and it can take two minutes for a coupon to process, and I should have downloaded my coupon before I got to checkout. I am very efficient at checkout - we were having this conversation as he was still scanning my items. At this point I was over Robert and the experience. My first thought was that I need t make CVS aware that they have this person in a customer facing role because I am reconsidering my habit of shopping at CVS, when I am told by a checker that I can't use a coupon because there is a line... that I just waited in too long.

The gentleman that helped my boyfriend and I this evening that checked us out was and is always extremely helpful and very friendly. He always reminds us about the monthly savings by being the loyalty rewards Cvs member thing you sign up for with your number and goes over each item what we saved. Very thorough and makes sure we see what great savings. We saved $17 $10 of which was my $10 off a month I get on or after the 4th every month so he explained. He is always so patient I’ve checked out with him a few times before during very busy times during the day and no matter how busy it gets he always makes you feel acknowledged and important not rushed. We need more customer service people like him in this world. So much of it has been lost it’s nice when you meet people who care and value there job you can tell when they do.
