The teenage boys in the weight room are just the worst. Someone teach them gym etiquette!!!! Yelling, burping, grunting, farting, littering in the gym, rubbing their socks and bare feet all over machines, and they never wipe anything down. It's unwelcoming and disgusting.

My son loves it there, even though he was bullied in karate, with the instructor taking zero action then stop and assault and battery against my little boy. They also discriminate against autistic kids, even though my daughter is obsessed with the indoor play area for young children. She allegedly bit a staff member and they banned her from visiting the kids corner It is closed on Sundays, so beware so as to not show it to your kids that day. You will avoid disappointment and a potential meltdown. The life guards are rude and the teenagers hang out on machines and drop racial epithets constantly.

I've been a member for almost a year now. Overall, this facility is kept clean and has a good selection of equipment that is generally in good condition. I typically go for free weights which I think YMCA should have more of. I have two main issues. First, why did the building designers make it so you can see in the men's locker room from the hallway and courts where women and children are. Second, for being so diverse and open, why do they lock so many rooms during normal operating hours? They don't seem to trust their members.
