If you're looking for a wedding venue, certainly give consideration to Nipomo's historic Dana Powers House. It's a location surrounded by multiple garden areas and antique wood and decor which provide excellent photo backgrounds. There is also a unique large barn on the property designed for dinner receptions and dancing, which will accommodate large groups. Judi Powers, the owner, is a delightful person to work with, who will tailor your wedding to your needs and desires. We and our photographer David Pascolla used this location for our 50th wedding anniversary and family photo sessions, and the results were spectacular. This place will add to making your special day even more unique and special. Ray and Pat Sadowski

We- Applemoon Photography- LOVE shooting weddings at the Dana Powers House and Barn. The owner/coordinator, Judy, is a gem and has done awesome things with this venue. The historic house and abundant gardens are total eye candy for a wedding venue, and the rustic barn and surrounding property is filled with fun and creative details which is great for guests (and wedding photographers). Every wedding we've captured here has been met with happy people!

The Dana-Powers House is heaven on Earth. The atmosphere of the barn is perfect for any wedding, reception, or ask them about any other party you would like to have. There is plenty to do there. They have orchards, a garden, and various props around the property that will give you the most gorgeous backdrop for any photos. The staff is amazing and the owner, Judi, is just lovely. She will take care of you and help you figure out what the best set up is for your occasion. There is a kitchen, dance floor, and a bar (you provide the drinks) so you can make the most out of the space whether you are catering or having any other vendors show up for your party. This is a must see and should be the number 1 location for your next event.
