We were in the process of selling our home. Our pool needed a brand new light that my husband and I purchased a few months prior to contacting Daudelin Pool Service.
Adam, a tech from this company, came out to install the light. He had to do some drilling to get the new light installed. Finished the job but we noticed that three days later, we were losing quite a bit of water from our pool. We called Adam In hopes that he could check his own work out because of the leak. He IMMEDIATELY developed an attitude with my very calm mannered husband. He basically said...."stop blaming me for your 40yr old pool leak." Adam was on speaker phone, so I heard all that he had to say regarding his light installation. He is a hot head for sure! We did NOT blame him for causing the leak, but he was the last person to touch our pool and we've never lost water or had any trouble with our pool....until he touched it!
So, he refused to check his work, and my husband and I had to pay for yet another person to come out to check Adam's careless workmanship. When we had another company check for leaks, the leak was coming EXACTLY where Adam had worked on the light! We told Adam this.....and because he must distrust everyone, he DEMANDED that my husband send him a video of the leak! We provided him a video of the leak. He finally reimbursed us for the monies we had to pay for another company to have to come out to check his work, but this guy Adam......is surely a hothead, so I really would not recommend this company! My father ran a business for many, many years, and he taught us how to respect customers and take into consideration all their concerns, so this guy, Adam, his behavior, is totally unacceptable in my book!
Update on this family business!!! This company was started by Josh....later on he brought on board his brother, Adam. This information was just explained to me by the company's manager, Melissa! Melissa is a fantastic, kind, and caring person! She explained to me that Adam, the brother of Josh, is no longer with Daudelin Pool Service! Adam had to be "removed" from this business for reasons listed in my initial post! Adam's irrational and rather meniacle behavior is just the very reason why he had to be "let go" from this family owned and operated business! Evidently, Adam has "gone off the deep end" with other customers, therefore....Josh had to rid him from the company.
Adam has started his own Company, Adam&Company. I would seriously not even entertain the thought of using this "hot head" as a pool service person. Again, Adam's unusual, unprofessional, and illogical behavior was unacceptable. Please be wary of this man!
As for the management of Daudelin Pools, I want to thank Melissa for reaching out to me and explaining to me the "real" story behind Adam and his departing from Daudelin Pool Service. Again, he's not affiliated with Josh and Daudelin Pool Service any longer.
Tyler was extremely professional and fast! He is the only one I call to fix my pool now and he is wonderful to work with. Thanks y'all Wes Byrd
