Dave's Hot Chicken

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken today for the first time. The staff were very friendly,, professional, and extremely helpful. We ordered the number three which came with one tender and one slider, french fries or you could sub it for macaroni and cheese which we did we got Miles and medium and medium and hot. I can tell you that the ribs are much different than the sauces, hot wings. I can normally have a medium and hot but the rub was so hot that the mild was extremely hot. I didn’t know what to expect because I have never been to Dave’s hot chicken, so I was surprised when the chicken wasn’t saucy, the kale salad in the sandwich with the pickles and the Dave sauce was good. The sandwich size is really big I would say it’s more of a sandwich than a slider. I was so full I couldn’t even eat the tenders so I had to bring it home. The Dave sauce is really tasty. The kale slaw is good I’m not really sure about The macaroni and cheese however, it does help with the burning sensation you get from the chicken the chicken was cooked well and it was nice and juicy inside but again the rub was layers of flavor and a little bit on the hot side so when ordering definitely try the mild and may be a medium before getting all crazy we were told by Kylie, that if you try it with some honey, but that’s a must. They also suggested that the number two was the most popular item on the menu. However, we went with the number three so we had a variety we got icewater which we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had baby ice, the seating was great and the paintings inside of the location were super cool and again the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and came to check on us after they serve the food to see how we were liking everything not once but twice if you haven’t been 10 out of 10 totally recommend checking it out again if you’re expecting buffalo wings, this is not buffalo wings. This is a whole different experience, but again I recommend.

Food is so delicious. I've only ordered sliders in medium and hot. they are some of the best chicken my wife and I have ever had. The Hot slider has a good kick at the beginning but it doesn't linger for more than a few minutes.

First time eating at Dave's. The location was clean and staff friendly. The chicken was good but not earth shattering. The crisp is lacking, maybe needs a few more minutes cooking. The dipping sauce is very flavorful. The fries were delicious. The bread or toast was in need of roasting. The pickles are delicious, however, they need to pack that in a container so the juice doesn't spread all over the bread and chicken. They should drain the pickles a bit more if they plan to not use a container. Had the three piece meal. I will try it one more time but at a different location to compare consistency.
