It's sad to say but my family did not have a good experience with Dr. Toor. My mother was at Memorial earlier this year and we found out that her cancer had progressed and there was nothing more that could be done for her. When Dr. Toor came into the room, the first question he asked was "what do you need from me?" I didnt like his tone or demeanor I thought it was very unprofessional. He went over her chart and proceeded to tell her that the chemo she was taking previously was one of the best chemos but she didn't finish it! He was very curt as if he was blaming her. My mother was on morphine at the time because she was in so much pain so she was in and out and not able to respond well so we did the best that we could giving him information. I understand that doctors have to be upfront with their patients. I have no problem with that but you should do it with compassion and Dr Toor had no compassion at all. My mother received news that there was nothing else that could be done for her, she knew what that meant. We were not asking for a pat on the back but I do feel no matter how long you've been in this profession you should always maintain compassion and he just didn't provide that in our situation maybe he has with others but we did not get that experience. I hope he sees this review and keep in mind the next time he is dealing with a terminally ill patient. My Mother passed away in June this year.

Dr. Hornback is a top notch Doctor! He is kind, caring, personable and professional. He treated my husband for a rare Zygomatic bone tumor and has kept us informed every step of the way. His staff is amazing as well.
