Terrible customer service, non attentive, no follow up, no continuation of communication, no assistance in explaining different products , or different features, or what to order, or how to install correctly despite their products is very unique,sophisticated, and super expensive.
Only selective people can afford, and will install their products, and those people only a few of them will do it themselves, majority will hire professionals to install these product lines.
That's when professionals realize the sales, or products support,or technical support is like trash, and does not exist. Can't reach Daeko by phone, can't reach them online. They are too slow to respond,or do not respond at all. Must do so much research on your own, and invest so much time just to get all the information needed for this Daeko products on your own , so the project can be finished at the highest quality installation standards without letting Daeko bad, or non existent customer service affect your quality installation, or project completion.
For the extremely high prices for Daeko products, there is supposed to be a matching high quality customer service, or products support, or good quality technical support. But oooh no no.
I highly do not recommend Daeko product line. You will feel abandoned, and you are on your own. Then they are always out of stock, and they don't know when they will be restocked, and that will create huge problems when can not finish your projects on time. Confidence in you get shaken , because you can't finish your expensive projects on time.
It is terrible experience from the moment you get involved with Daeko products, until the last moment you complet the project.
Not only that after the professionals learned all they need to operate Daeko products correctly, now they must also educate,and pass the knowledge to the people who hired them, and who will be using Daeko products on a regular continuous basis. It is supposed to be a very simple concept, install the products correctly, then operate it normally & easily. But no no. That is a dream . Daeko products are so sophisticated, and complicated, you need a highly technical mental knowledge to install, and operate. Even after you finish installing Daeko products successfully, and to everyone satisfaction, you are still on the hook for a very long time,if something goes wrong in the future, you have to remember what you did,and how you did it the first time correctly, so you can fix the current issue on your own without Daeko non existent products support.
I highly don't recommend Daeko product line.

I appreciate the quick response and the explanation. I will certainly wait for a deal to buy more switches since my entire house has is already wired for them.
The price of these switches are insane! you can get 4 to 5 smart switches from Honeywell for the same price as one smart Deako switch. Also, you have to connect the light switch to the internet using their app which is very glitchy. For their premium price, they should be z-wave compatible at the very least. I'd be much more willing to buy more of these switches at a lower price point.
