Upon entering DeNicola's, I was greeted with a nosefull of wonderful garlic bread and was immediately hungry! I tried a side of meatballs, which were delicious, and the marinara was rich and flavorful. I also tried the special, ricotta filled ravioli in a roasted red pepper cream sauce with Italian sausage... I utterly destroyed it, one of the best meals I've had in months 😋 I can't wait to come back and try the special cheese pizza, it sounds amazing!
I absolutely love the food, it's of great quality and quantity. The servers are excellent and pay attention without bugging you, a nice balance. I felt very well taken care of, as the servers went ahead and moved a chair aside for my wheelchair with a smile and a pleasant attitude. Wonderful and welcoming conduct, superb.
When there are many guests, it can be a little bit loud inside of the restaurant.
One small issue is the bathroom, I couldn't reach the restroom in my wheelchair as there wasn't enough room to squeeze by tables, and I realized that if I could have done so, I would have had a very hard time getting into the stall. Thankfully I can walk short distances, but other people may need assistance. So this is something you may want to consider if you are mobility impaired.
Overall I had a very good time and I loved every second of it, and I will most likely return. All of the staff truly earned their tips because they provided exceptional service and not the bare minimum, many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place.
The fettuccine mezza mezza with the meatballs was really tasty. The steamer clams went mostly uneaten.
My biggest complaint was the perfume of the staff. It's just inconsiderate to wear perfume to a restaurant.
