I was gravely disappointed as to the basis and discrimination regarding my emergency appointment I had on Friday 10/11/24 2pm with two displaced teeth, tooth number 9 and 10. For all that don’t know those are the main upper front of your smile. I was examined by the doctor and was told he could not assist me and was referring me to another dental group.
My dental group was contacted for an emergency referral regarding oral surgery. This request was immediately granted with a dental group that was in my provider’s group but as to Dental group of Beverly Hills had no prior working history with. This information and referral was with held from me sending me to another provider where I had to pay out of pocket for the procedure.
When I found out what was going to happened which was an extraction I asked the doctor if I will be getting a temporary tooth he stated that is at your regular dentist so I immediately called Dental group of Beverly Hills back and asked if they could do the procedure for me since they accept my insurance I was told no the doctor had already left I asked how could this be I just spoken with him on a conference call less than five minutes the representative sternly replied we are close called me by name and hang the phone up
