So .... I will say this.... The staff was Helpful. The office was clean and welcoming.
HOWEVER ...... My Biggest issue here is that I never got a standard cleaning on my first visit. (which i thought was a little weird but after seeing other reviews i can see i wasnt the only one)
They told me a standard cleaning would be useless and that i need a deep cleaning (also really weird to me because i can understand a need for special treatment ever so often but to tell me a standard cleaning is useless is really wild)
For Context i do believe i needed a deep cleaning. However, its odd that scheduling a regular cleaning is "useless" (especially since those are normally covered under most standard benefits and nothing comes out of your pocket)
My initial consultation was odd because all i did was get x rays. then get told how bad my gums were and then a stack of paper telling me i needed tens of thousands of dollars worth of work was handed to me. It really just seemed like they were trying to sell me services. Not actually care for my dental health and improvement.
I did end up getting the deep cleaning (because again, i did feel like i needed it) Sheena was very pleasant overall and she answered every question i had.
HOWEVER, I asked for financing for the deep cleaning since it was 850$ ( i asked both at the consultation and while i was paying AFTER the cleaning) .... However, they still took the full price for the procedure when they swiped my card. (THIS is what bothered me the most considering it already felt like i was just a dollar sign at this point.)
I would advise anyone who comes to this practice to PLEASE read and pay attention to the low reviews. Again. i feel like the staff was welcoming and pleasant . But i definitely dont feel like dental care is the priority there. They seem like money is the main objective. and unfortunately they took mine. and they took more than they said they would take up front.
After calling a couple of clinics for an emergency extraction, this clinic accepted my grand mother who needed help right away. She said the procedure was painless and was relieved her ordeal was over.
The staff was friendly and although we didn't have an appointment, they were able to accommodate her. I highly recommend this clinic.
The location is BART friendly and situated in a shopping complex too. Plenty of parking as well. 5 stars!!!!
