I wish I could give 0 stars because going to this dental office has truly been the worst experience. I went in for an emergency appointment for a toothache. Before looking in my mouth they order X-rays of the side with pain. Then the doctor looks at my teeth and decides they need to do X-rays of my whole mouth. I explained I haven’t been to the dentist since I was a kid and the dentists said she would do a cleaning right there if I had time. Came back a few minutes later says she can’t actually do it she has another patient. Okay fine. She tells me in addition to the tooth causing me pain I need my wisdom teeth out, but she’d like to do a cleaning/normal exam first. This was Monday and I was scheduled for a cleaning at 9am on Wednesday and the tooth extractions for 10am. I was supposed to get a prescription for the pain, but hours after I left they hadn’t sent it to the pharmacy so I called and was told they would send one in for Advil and that they hadn’t sent a prescription because they “didn’t know I’d go right away” as if the appointment wasn’t made because I was in pain. They then emailed me an estimate for the tooth removal then called an hour later to explain it would actually be double. I get there at 8:30am as was requested to fill out paperwork and go over aftercare, etc. then wait for my cleaning. Around 9:15 they finally call me back. I sat waiting another 20 minutes for the dentist to come in and say it’s not safe to remove all the teeth they originally planned because my weight is too high and I should go to the doctor. Then she says they can take out my broken tooth but not the wisdom teeth. Then someone else comes in and says they have to take out the broken tooth and one wisdom tooth and do a bone graft. I told them over and over I just wanted the broken tooth out so I wouldn’t be in pain. I ultimately had the procedure so that I wouldn’t be in pain, but I’m still unsure if the whole thing was necessary. I will never go here ever again and I hope anyone reading this thinks twice before scheduling an appointment. I wasted a total of about 4 1/2 hours at this place this week and wish I could get that time back and had chosen a different dental practice to go to with my toothache.
